Not an emergency service. For a bear in conflict with people, pets, or property, call the BC Conservation Officer Service RAPP line.

Report an incident

Four short sections. The last one — what you did about it — is the part other residents actually learn from.

1. Where and when

For example: Sparwood Heights, the Annex, near the Rec Centre. Do not enter a street address — reports naming a specific home are not published.

2. What happened

What you saw, what the bear got into, and anything else useful to a neighbour. Please leave out names and addresses.

3. How it was handled

This is the part that makes the map genuinely useful. Knowing what worked matters more than knowing a bear went past.

4. Evidence

Doorbell captures, tipped carts, damage. Please avoid photos that show house numbers, licence plates, or people.

Not published. Use this for context you would rather not put on the public map.
